Six proud rugby nations will battle it out for Pacific dominance: Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Canada, Japan, and the United States.

From Friday, August 29 to Monday, September 1, 2025, Utah will host the vibrant Polynesian Festival, an event that showcases the rich culture of the islands during the Polynesian Days. Join us for an unforgettable experience filled with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Pacific! Enjoy electrifying performances from Tenelle, Ho’onua, Finn Gruva, TeHaMata & Va’a Beyond, along with the powerful Na Drua & JR Maile Tribute Concert featuring the Fijian community, honoring the legendary George “Fiji” Veikoso. Participate in thrilling volleyball tournaments, cultural village demonstrations, and visit our vibrant vendor market, which will be brimming with island food, crafts, and treasures. Thanksgiving Point is one of the top attractions in Utah, whose mission is to draw upon the natural to cultivate transformative family learning. Like Thanksgiving Point, Polynesians value their Ohana (family) and education. Every year it gets better and better! For those of us who can't often make trips to Hawaii, we see events like the Polynesian Festival Utah as a wonderful opportunity to experience Hawaii from afar. It's great that we can come together to enjoy some entertainment, delicious food, and good company, and then explore the various activities that the Polynesian festival Utah has to offer. There's plenty of space to bring your own lawn chairs or a mat and relax under the shade. The bathrooms are always clean, security is available 24/7, and the staff members, from the information desk to the janitors, are consistently helpful.

Over the years, I have had booths at many Polynesian events, and I must say that Polynesian Days is one of my absolute favorites for showcasing my arts and crafts. The upcoming Poly Fest Utah 2024 is an event I look forward to, as I love the vast space, the entertainment, and especially the opportunity to educate others about our culture.
